Common questions
Do I need a trademark if I've registered my company name?
Yes. Company incorporation and trademark registration are separate systems; an MCA company name gives you almost no protection against a competitor branding products with your name. Only a registered trademark does.
How long does registration take in India?
If the application faces no objections or oppositions, roughly 8–18 months, though the ™ symbol can be used from the day of filing, and rights date back to the application.
What does it cost?
Government fees are fixed per class (lower for individuals, startups, and small enterprises); our professional fees are quoted up front, and standard filings are available at a fixed fee.
What if someone objects to my application?
The examiner may raise objections, or a third party may oppose. Both are common and often surmountable. We draft responses, appear at hearings, and advise you honestly on your odds at each step.
