Shah Jain & Co. is a law practice headquartered in Fort, Mumbai, the heart of the city's legal district, built around intellectual property and the work that surrounds it. We're passionate about empowering businesses, creators, and innovators to protect their most valuable assets: their ideas.

Laher Shah
Founding & Managing Partner · Patent Agent · Attorney-at-LawLaher leads the firm's practice across trademarks, patents, media, and enforcement, and the commercial work that surrounds them. A registered patent agent who trained in pharmacy before turning to law, she brings the scientific grounding patent work demands, with postgraduate diplomas in patent law (NALSAR, Hyderabad), intellectual property law (Government Law College, Mumbai), and media & advertising law (NALSAR), where she ranked first in her programme.
She founded Shah Jain & Co. after a decade in Mumbai's IP practice at W.S. Kane & Co., Arjun T Bhagat & Company, and as Partner at Davawala & Shah LLP. She spent seven years on the teaching faculty of Government Law College, Mumbai, and represents the firm at INTA's annual meetings, the hub of its international associate network.
